Challenge
Justin Bouknight approached Wilderlands with a collection of songs centered on spiritual renewal and personal transformation. The goal was to create an EP that authentically captured the tension of the wilderness journey while pointing listeners toward hope, restoration, and new beginnings.
The project required balancing intimate songwriting with a polished modern sound, ensuring each track remained emotionally honest while maintaining consistency across the EP. Working closely with the artist, we developed arrangements that highlighted the heart of each song while shaping a cohesive sonic identity for the project. From production and recording to mixing and mastering, every stage was guided by the EP’s central themes of renewal, perseverance, and encountering God in unexpected places.
Result
Through thoughtful production, detailed mixing, and intentional sonic design, we crafted a listening experience that supports the emotional journey of the songs.
